The ADAC Saarland e.V. had planned numerous events this year that could not be held due to official regulations to contain the coronavirus. The ban on major events, which applies until October 31, 2020, also applies to the Saarland ADAC Oldtimer Days with the ADAC Saarland Historic, which were planned from October 2 to 4, 2020.
The state government has now also ordered the suspension of the phased plan, which provided for a gradual increase in the permitted number of participants at events.
Due to the ongoing pandemic, the increasing number of infections, combined with the official requirements and the limited number of participants and spectators possible, those responsible at ADAC Saarland have decided to suspend this year’s ADAC Oldtimer Days at the Linslerhof in Überherrn and the ride.
Head of Sport Thomas Krisam: “We didn’t take this decision lightly, but ultimately we have to bow to the current circumstances. However, there is good news for all classic car fans, as we have already reached an agreement with our partners to hold the event next year. The Saarland ADAC Oldtimer Days at the Linslerhof in Überherrn and the ADAC Saarland Historic excursion are scheduled for the 2. and October 3, 2021 planned”.
